The Sun
THE Sun ☀️ hope you know about the solar system!
Space is very interesting but the sun ☀️ is very important.
So the sun is a star ⭐️ and a 5 billion year old big ball of super hot 🥵 gas
The sun ☀️s core is 15 million degrees Celsius.while the surface temperature 🤒 is 5760 degrees Celsius
THAT IS SO DAMN HOT 🥵
But how did the sun form.
The Big Bang. but it formed billions of years later. So how did it form our sun ☀️?
The sun and the rest of the solar system formed from a giant rotating cloud of gas and dust called solar nebula about 4.5 billion years ago. As the nebula collapsed because of it’s overwhelming gravity, it spun faster and flattened into a disk.
Here are a lot of interesting 🤔 facts-
- The sun ☀️ accounts for 99.86 % of the mass in our solar system
- Over one million earths could fit inside comfortably in the ☀️
- One day the sun ☀️ will consume the 🌍 🌎 🌏
- The energy created by the sun ☀️ is nuclear ☢️ fusion
- The ☀️ is almost a 👌 sphere
- The ☀️ travels 220km per second
The Ancient Greeks personified the ☀️ as a handsome god named Helios. His astronomical pedigree was impeccable: he was the son of the Titan Hyperion and the titaness theia.
What colour is the sun ☀️?
The light emitted by the ☀️ is actually white which is a composite of all the visible frequencies of light💡. In fact using a prism you can break sunlight into the full spectrum of it’s colours:red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet; all which form the colours of the rainbow 🌈!
What colour is the coolest 💫
Red. the hottest ✨ tend to appear blue or blue-white, whereas the cooler stars ✨ appear red but our star 💫 which is the ☀️ is a mellow yellow dwarf 💫. and a red star 💫 beetlegeuse and a blue-white star 💫 Rigel and both these stars ✨ come in the same constellation 🌌 Orian.
Which star 💫 is similar to the sun ☀️?
Tau ceti.at a distance of 12 light years from earth and visible to the naked eye 👁 in the evening sky,Tau Ceti is the closest single star 💫 that has the same spectral classification as our sun ☀️.
Is there another name for the sun ☀️?
Yes there is another name for the sun ☀️. It is sol that’s where the term solar system comes sol is the scientific 🧫 name for the sun ☀️
Is the sun ☀️ a common star 💫?
Our sun ☀️ is an average sized star 💫: there are smaller stars ✨ and larger stars ✨, even up to 💯 times larger. Many other solar systems have multiple suns, while ours just has one ☝️.
Is our sun ☀️ a red giant?
The future of the sun ☀️. In approximately 5 billion years, the sun ☀️ will begin the helium burning 🥵 process , turning into a red giant star 💫. When it’s outer layers will consume mercury and Venus and reach 🌍 🌎🌏.
Is the sun ☀️ in space?
Yes the sun ☀️-in fact the whole solar system - orbits around the center of the milky way galaxy 🌌. We are moving at an average velocity.
of 828,000 km per/hr. But even at that rate,it still takes us about 230 million years to make complete orbit around the milky way!
What makes the Sun ☀️ burn?
the sun ☀️ does not "burn", like we think of logs in a fire or paper burning.the Sun ☀️ glows because it is a very big ball of gas and a process called nuclear fusion is taking place in it's core. ... hydrogen really doesn't burn it fuses into helium.
Can we create our own sun ☀️
All stars ✨ including our own sun ☀️ generate their astounding energy through the process of nuclear ☢️ fusion. Their intense gravity creates extremely high temperature 🤒 and pressure at their cores, which squeezes together atoms of hydrogen gas ⛽️ fusing them into a helium nucleus.
Is the sun ☀️ fire 🔥 or plasma?
The sun ☀️ is our nearest star 💫. It is as all stars ✨ are a hot 🥵 ball of gas ⛽️ made up of mostly hydrogen. The sun ☀️ is so hot 🥵 that most of the gas ⛽️ is actually plasma, the fourth state of matter
What does the sun ☀️ do?
The sun warms our seas stirs our atmosphere generates our weather patterns and gives energy to the growing green plants 🌱 that provide the food and oxygen for life on earth 🌍 🌎🌏. We know the sun ☀️ through it’s heat and light but other less obvious aspects of the sun ☀️ affect earth 🌍 🌎🌏
And society.
How much is sun ☀️ healthy?
Regular sun ☀️ exposure is the most natural way to get enough vitamin D. To maintain healthy blood 🩸 levels aim to get 10-30 minutes of midday 🕛 sunlight several times per week. People with darker skin may need a little more than this. Your exposure time should depend on how sensitive your skin is to sunlight.
- The sun ☀️ is the star at the centre of our solar system
- The sun ☀️ is a G-type main-sequence star 💫 {G2V}based on it’s spectral class
- The sun ☀️ currently fuses about 600 million tons of hydrogen into helium every second converting 4 million tons of matter into energy every second as a result
Is sunlight good for your eyes?
Seeing the natural light of the sun ☀️ makes your brain work better. No not staring into the sun ☀️ but allowing the eyes 👀 to be exposed to natural outdoor light 💡 -contact lenses eyeglasses 🤓 sunglasses 😎 and windows block the helpful sun ☀️.
Which time is sunlight harmful?
Plan your exposure. Avoid direct sun ☀️ between 10 am and 4 pm this is when the sun’s rays are the strongest.
How is the sun ☀️ harmful?
The sun ☀️ Radiates light to the earth 🌍 🌎🌏 and part of that light 💡 consists of the invisible UV rays. When these rays reach the skin they cause tanning burning 🥵 and other skin damage. UVA rays cause skin aging and wrinkling and contribute to skin cancer ♋️ such as melanoma {the most dangerous form of skin cancer ♋️.
Which time sun ☀️ rays are good?
A pan-India study has revealed that the best time to get exposed to the sun ☀️ is between 11am and 1pm since the wavelength of ultraviolet B{UVB} rays is 290-320nm during this period which is essential for skin to make vitamin D.
What 3 things does the sun ☀️ do?
It holds the solar system together;provides life-giving light 💡 heat and energy to earth 🌍 🌎🌏 ; and generates space weather.
Is the sun ☀️ good for your immune system?
The sun ☀️ UV rays help your body make this nutrient which is important for your bones 🦴 blood 🩸 cells and immune system. It also helps you take in and use certain minerals like calcium and phosphorus.
Does morning sun ☀️ make you tan?
If your goal 🥅 is to tan faster in the shortest amount of time then it’s best to be outside when the sun ☀️ rays are the strongest. ... you can still get a sun ☀️ burn in the early morning 🌥 or late afternoon 🌤 and it’s important to wear sun ☀️ screen 📺 even on cloudy ⛅️ days when as much as 80 percent of UV rays are still present 🎁.
What is inside the sun ☀️?
The sun ☀️ is a big ball of gas and plasma. Most of the gas ⛽️ -91 percent-is hydrogen. It is converted into energy in the sun ☀️ core. The energy moved outward through the interior layers into the sun ☀️ atmosphere and is released into the solar system as heat and light 💡.
What is hotter than the sun ☀️?
Yes carys; there are lot’s of places in our universe where it’s much hotter hotter than the sun ☀️. Our sun ☀️ is a giant ball of gas that is 5760 degrees Celsius at the surface and 15 million degrees Celsius in the core!that is so damn hot 🥵! A kettle of boiling 🥵 water 💦 is scalding hot 🥵 and it’s only 💯 degrees Celsius.
Can the sun ☀️ darken our skin?
Melanin protects skin from the sun ☀️ ultraviolet rays which can bur skin and over time could reduce it’s elasticity and cause a person to age.
